First of like to start booked them a week and a half before moving day this is in May the night before moving day at around 19:00 we get called that they have to cancel because if something called shared load which was never discussed with us now we’re stuck with no plan they then verbalised a refund will be given it’s is now June no refund was sent to offices send you post to pillar if you ever want to get scammed highly recommend them for that

Do not trust these people!

If you value your goods you will not use this company.

We hired them to transport my dad’s car a Mercedes SLK convertible from Joburg to Mossel Bay.

My dad opted for the “chauffeur” service. What a laugh. 2 guys showed up at the house in tracksuits, socks and flip flops. One whose name is Wesley. From his WhatsApp status I could gather not South African.

So no truck? I asked. He said she’s gonna drive my dad’s car to the warehouse. When I asked where the warehouse was, he gave me an adress that’s 33 minutes away. I called his “boss” or whom ever the CDJ contact person is Shane or Shaun, he informed me that it was only 8km away.

Confused, and with alot of doubt I handed the keys over to Wesley.

After an hour I sent him a WhatsApp asking if the car for there safe to which he replied “don’t worry sister”. Very professional, but wait it gets worse.

He phones my dad 2 hours after leaving my house that he’s stuck. In his own residential area not anywhere near any of warehouse addresses given.

He said he ran out of petrol, wanted my dad to reimburse him and oh ya the battery is flat so the car won’t start.

My dad isn’t in joburg so I sent my fiancé to see what is happening.

He found my dad’s car, bonnet open, battery removed, leaking oil and water running under the car with the top down!!!!!

The joy ride Wesley took the car on was also recorded by CPF members in the community who said that they were drag racing and wheel spinning and doing donuts in the street. They trashed the engine. Metro police came out but couldn’t make an arrest of Wesley as the cat was stationary when the metro arrived.

My fiancé was surrounded by Wesley and about 7 of his friends who refused to hand the keys over despite my fiancé being with me in the morning when I gave him the car.

We had to get a tow truck to tow the car back to the collection address in Joburg.

They still have the deposit we paid for this service.

Did I forget to mention Boss Shaun switched off his phone or blocked us?

And we have not heard from him since!!!!

We will be legally perusing this matter with CDJ movers for damages.

I booked a piano move from Cape Town to Johannesburg on short notice, and everything went well.

Communication was good,the piano arrived safely, on time, and in good condition.

They did not load everything as was marked. I got them to load my small dog kennel on a trailor. They charged me extra for their fault. 8/5/25 they loaded. After many calls on 3/6/25 my goods were delivered from out a cars boot. STILL NO DOG KENNEL. I keep phoning but they do not answer my calls or whutsup.

I have photos of my stuff and of the damaged goods.
